E-Commerce Exchange Safety Spot
The Indian Harbour Beach Police Department E-Commerce Safe
Spot is located at the Indian Harbour Beach Police Department, 1835 S. Patrick Drivehe E-Commerce Safe Spot provides residents with a safe place for buyers and sellers to meet to complete their transactions. We have designated the parking spaces on the southwestern portion of the parking lot for these legitimate exchanges. The E-Commerce Safe Spot is clearly marked with road painting and signage. The Safe Spot is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and is under 24-hour surveillance with a video feed directly to the Indian Harbour Beach Police Department.
We believe that having an area designated for this specific purpose that is recorded and monitored by the police department will deter those who may want to engage in criminal activity.
While most people who participate in e-commerce are credible, a small percentage of people use popular websites to prey on the innocent. Throughout the country, there are many stories where citizens who use e-commerce have been robbed and even seriously hurt. The Indian Harbour Beach Police Department is pleased to offer a safer alternative and a secure location to Indian Harbour Beach residents to help ensure and enhance their safety and to minimize the opportunity for an encounter to go wrong.
