David Nutt was born in Indialantic and raised on the beachside, attending Sea Park Elementary, DeLaura Junior High, and Satellite High School. He is a veteran of both the U.S. Air Force and Army and earned a B.S. in Human Services and Counseling from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina. He spent over twenty years in management within the tech sector, overseeing operations for a national company. Mr. Nutt has also served on the Planning and Zoning Board for the City of Indian Harbour Beach.
As a small business owner, David is committed to supporting local businesses and community initiatives. He is the founder and organizer of the IHB Small Business Expo, an event that raises funds and awareness for the Volunteer Fire Department. He is married to Kazzy, and together they have six grown children—Coty, Jared, Stephen, Christopher, Savannah, and Nicholas.
