Susan Ruimy is a proud resident of Indian Harbour Beach, where she thrives as a small business owner, dedicated mother, and wife. Originally from New York, she earned a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Purchase and has a strong background in nonprofit work and community volunteering. Her connection to the Indian Harbour Beach community deepened through her volunteer efforts at Ocean Breeze Elementary School, where her children attend.
Susan has contributed significantly to the community by serving on the Indian Harbour Tree Preservation Board, managing the Indian Harbour Small Business Expo, organizing beach cleanups at Millennium Beach Park, and acting as Vice President of the Ocean Breeze PTO.
Susan encourages residents to say hi when she’s walking her dogs or spending time with her family at the beach, and wants to remind others that she is an elected official but also a fellow neighbor.
