Additionally, at the City Council meeting on Tuesday Firefighter William Towers and Battalion
Chief Anthony Coleman received the Medal of Honor for their bravery and selflessness in the
face of danger during a past fire.
Firefighter Towers and Battalion Chief Coleman are both dedicated members of the Indian Harbour
Beach Volunteer Fire Department and exemplify both the selflessness and bravery that the Medal
of Honor represents. The courage and commitment that these men have has been a truly invaluable
asset to the City. Thank you and congratulations.
