Turtle Season, Lights Out!

Our beaches will be getting darker than usual,  but that's a good thing for our endangered friends the sea turtles. Due to local ordinances created to protect sea turtle nesting, from May 1st to Oct. 31st, all indoor and outdoor lights visible from the beach must be shielded, repositioned, replaced or turned off between the times of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
